There is so much media focus, and therefore dress up games, about the more popularized Asian countries, such as Japan and China. But of course, Asia does not end at those two! Finally, a doll maker that celebrates the beautiful, rich culture of Vietnam! Ao Dai translates loosely to "long shirt". Did you know it can be worn by both genders? Unlike some of the more historical folk costumes, the ao dai is a bit more recent, having origins in the 1700s, and being re-imagined into a more familiar form in the 20s and 30s.
